if you get them cleared at a bodyshop that actually uses clear out of a gun the results will be 10x better. here's a couple of mine but they're further away. just as shiny close up though. don't get me wrong yours look good too but i'm just offering you some info if you want to have them even glossier.

Floopso, use some polishing(not buffing) compound on the lights. Mine were dull at first too, and after using A turtle Wax polishing compound I waxed them and they really shine. Check my sig for pics

Did you polish over the nightshades, the clear, or did you even use clear on those? They look really good btw

Re: my niteshades resluts

Instead of paying a body shop to clear coat them, I wonder if clear coat in an aerosol can would work. Maybe something to try this weekend...

Sorry it took so long to respond. I used 3 coats of niteshades, 3 coats of clear, and then the polishing compound.

cc in a can absolutely sux. i had mine done with niteshades and clearcoat, but then i decided that i would have a buddy of mine redo them. he mixed up some black and clear and they turned out absolutely perfect

Re: my niteshades resluts

I work at a bodyshop so it was a FREEBIE to get them cleared. and yeah the clear out of a can sucks compared to the clear you spray out of a gun. i would guess to take them to a bodyshop and clear them it may run $40-$50? just guessing may be cheaper especially if you can just say "if they have left over clear from a previous job could they spray them with that".

Looks really good, but there is a reason the light buckets were painted flat black by the factory!
