Well done sir, way to keep at it!
Slowly bringing my 95 back to its former glory as well. I wish I had a garage so i could be as meticulous! I'm using your work as something to look up to for myself While changing interior bulbs in the car my knee put a massive hole in the front drive leather seat Looks like I'll need to reupholster now! A couple weeks before the the convertible switch died. These cars are getting old breaking down like we are!

Appreciate the encouragement and kind words! Definitely a labor of love and hate haha. Don’t even mention about breaking down at 60 I feel it after rolling around on the concrete under her. I ain’t worked on her since about five months now but I have all the front end pieces ready to go on now. So after the first of the New Year I will get back in her in Ernest.
Well, I’m still at it! Slow but sure. Went several different directions than what I originally had planned. Have a BMR upper/lower A Arms, Meziere electric water pump to install in the water pump housing, a Dewitt’s 2 row aluminum radiator, new AC Condenser and last but not least an Earls Performance external trans cooler.
I also completely disassembled engine bay again and stripped/sanded down to bare metal, primered and resprayed the engine bay. I did this cause first time around when I started car was outside and paint didn’t adhere well and chipped off. Took two weeks of going at it to complete!
Congrats on all the work you've done! I appreciate the work involved. I had a 68 Chevelle that took me 7 years to complete. Went through a wife, house, car ended up in three different places at one time. Finally got it done and won 1st place the first 2 shows I took it to. Great feeling! Keep it up and you'll get it. I can't wait to see the final product!
Like other, this is my first post, just registered so I could comment on this incredible build.
I have just acquired a Gen 4, and am 55yrs old. I was searching for build posts and BINGO... came across your build.
Completely blew me away.
Being a motorcycle man first, car dude second, I have done ground up builds and done the same thing, where a bike sat for 5yrs before i finished it.
Still have the bike today and another half built. I would like to do this to my Gen 4 (LT1 - 94) but I know its too much work. So tip of the hat from me Sir...
The car I have acquired, father Inlaws car, is a minter, except it has a lot of surface rust underneath and i am thinking on what to do... I will start a thread here, and would appreciate any comments.
Keep up the good fight, it will be an incredible car when its done.!
Appreciate the comments guys! I’m 62 and I ain’t quick as I once was. Be the last time I do this unless I have a lift. Climbing and rolling around under a car sucks the older you get. I have a ton of photos I need to post to where she is now.
Amazing work - so impressive.
Every price is a work of art.
When will the start up be?
I have a car in bits, but I am not able to do what you have done.
I dream of doing work like this, but it is so expensive and time consuming but the reward is immense satisfaction.
My car - I have gutted the inside and am removing all the seam sealant, I am finding rust underneath, once I have neutralize the rust and painted it, what sealant did you apply on top of the seam?

I don’t know about a work of art but it is definitely a labor of love. I used POR-15 inside the interior floorboards and seams. I was lucky this car had very little rust and under carpet two patch pieces only and some surface rust. I have started her already but chasing a fuel related issue and process of replacing the fuel pressure regulator. I hope that is the issue. Most of the parts I bought when I was still working, and most of the work was done then as well. I hope to paint her next year and finally drive her again. It’s been a long process that seems never ending.
Well I typed out a reply and it never posted so who knows what I did 🤣! I appreciate the kind words about my build. It is a labor of love and hate sometimes in the same day.
I used POR-15 on floor pans after sanding. I didn’t have to sand a lot as there was just some surface rust here or there. I had to small patches I had to cut out and weld new steel in. So I got lucky in that regard. The car wasn’t bad just dirty when I got it. I just went crazy haha!
I have started it and had a few issues. First was the VATS, tuned out in PCM but the series of resister that was done before I got her had a broken wire. So no start situation. So I ordered a well made piece that you ohmed your key and selected the resister closest to it. That cured that issue. Then would crank and start and run a few seconds and cut out. So, got some starting fluid and sure enough she ran but of course cut out. I knew pump was new and I installed that, and pressure was good but on guage would bleed off slowly, so I am
in process of swapping out the fuel pressure regulator with a new AC Delco FPR. Hopefully get that done Monday and see if she will run or not.
