Advertising. But, I got laid off, company closed, only a skeleton crew left to help in the client transition to our sister company.. I was actually unemployed for a month here, but got my job back on the 10th, and my last day is the 28th. And then i'm unemployed again.

Advertising? That's actually my major in college right now, and when I graduate next year I plan on working up to being an art director or creative director. What do you do in advertising/what is your job? Are you on the creative side or account management side? What agency do you work for?

Re: Meissen's Project CarPC Thread

Just an update, the 12v DC-DC in-car power supply came last monday, but alas it won't work in the car, so now I have to go back to using an inverter so I can use the 110 plugs and then using a regular ATX power supply to boot it up. Gonna return the in-car PS and see if they'll give me an exchange for a new one that hopefully isn't defective.

Re: Meissen's Project CarPC Thread

very nice!!! I want in in-car pc just because I'm in my car 24/7. How much are the parts and the hardrive etc...?

Did you make your own carbon fiber kit? If so what resin did you use. I got a fresh roll of 2x2 3K twill layin around. I'm waiting until I use the right resin, last time around i used regular polyester and it had that same dull haze to it (wasted a whole roll too) but it was a learning experience, which is why I have'nt used the new roll yet.

when you get a chance, check out my glass'd door panels in my Z28. i got thread goin in appearance. The 7" tV is just killin it lol!!

Re: Meissen's Project CarPC Thread

lol ya dork I already posted a reply to your door panels!

All together, cost me about a grand for parts and everything.

Yep, wrapped the pieces in carbon fiber myself. I used laminating epoxy resin, worked great. Bought it off ebay, too haha. Then just used a lot of clear coat to get it even more shiney.

Laminating Epoxy, you say....Ebay you say.... hmmmm I can learn much grasshoppa.

yea i thought of a thin coat of resin then clear coating it. I just hate to waste any more of this pretty CF, but I gotta learn so you know me. It'll be done soon lol!!! I want to use some on my 2000 camaro for a custom cover that stretches from the amp rack to the box.

Re: Meissen's Project CarPC Thread

yeah it was pretty easy, I put 3 layers of resin on, wetsanded, and then clear coat 3 layers. worked pretty good.

Re: Meissen's Project CarPC Thread

Got an uploaded video in the video section, should be a lot easier to watch. http://videos.camaroz28.com/Player.a...F7470C698D&p=0

I added clipart for every single artist in my collection (128 of artists) and also added another skin that has a fun game on it...

PS - Sorry they're so dark, I made the images smaller so they would fit nicely in the cz28 forum, but it also made it harder to see the images.
