No. Stock studs are 12mm x 1.5. You should not attempt to substitute any other thread size on the lug nuts.

check your local tire shop or auto parts store. as mentioned, you need 12mmx1.5 (or might read 12mmx1.50) acorn lugs

ok, i just got done, putting on my new wheels. and i ordered the size lugs mentioned before... but i dont know if i got the wrong ones or what... but they seemed like they had play in them while they were going on... they just felt loose... and once actually stripped out... the lugs have imprints of the size on them, and it says 1/2 - 20... i do have a V6. does this matter?

please help!

Hey, I dont know if you already got you nut prob sorted out, but I work at a tire shop. You do need 12x1.5 lugs and you shouldnt try anything else. The V6 and 8 are the same. We sell the chrome acorns for 50 cents ea. Thats $10 OR $8 you have locks.

Exactly what year is your car? I assumed you were talking about a 4th Gen, based on the wheels you are putting on. The 4th Gens, V6 and V8 are all 12mm - 1.5 (metric) lugs. But if by some chance you have a 3rd Gen, I think they use 1/2-20 (SAE/English) lugs.

A 1/2" lug is 0.500" diameter threads, a 12mm lug has 0.474" diameter threads. If you put a 1/2-20 lug on a 12mm stud, it is going to feel "loose".
