i'm looking to buy either racing seats that will look good or have mine reupholsterd in cloth!!
i've neveer gotten compliments on my leather seats...ONLY complaints..."ouch...that's REALLY hot...do you have a towel?"

. The cloth is much more comfortable, you don't slide around, it doesn't get as hot, and you don't have to keep putting stuff on it to keep it soft(my old seats were all dried and rotten from the previous owner's lack of care for the seats
). My friend who I got the seats from upgraded to leather seats out of a 2002 TA, but they are already starting to dry out, even though he puts conditioner on them every month
! And like teke184 said, I never had anyone say anything about the leather except "Do you have something to put over it?" or "If you put a T-shirt over the seats, they don't get as hot."

I think my custom leather interior really makes my car stand apart from the rest. With the leather it would just be another car in the crowd (of course having a vert does help when showing off the leather )

If I had leather, I'd do some kind of switch I swear.
Want to go another way? Try Sheepskins. I just removed my 3rd gen seats with custom front sheepskins. Man were they comfortable. But, I wanted the 4th gen seats that wrap around your body. I have got to say that now I am glad that I made the switch. These 4th gen seats seem to bring out their own because they mould to your body and are a pleasure on the curves.
I think i prefer cloth. When i was looking for a car, i would have liked to have found a car that had both manual seats, and cloth.
Although i wouldn't mind having leather. maybe in a TA seat if i got them cheap, the side support on our base cloth seats in camaro's sucks hard.
But what i really wanna do is get some C4 seats, my dad has a 93 Vette vert, triple black, and the seats are the things about the car that seem to stand out most to me. First off, they look cool as hell with a 40th ann. logo sewed into them. 2nd, i have NEVER seen a seat with NEAR as good of side support. Know whats really, really, really badass? You can adjust the side bolsters on how tight you want them against your body
The only downside to the seats is that they get really hot. My dad and i where on the way down to Bowling Green, and we had the top down, stopped to get somthing in McDonalds, came back out, and our ***'s where freaking burning like hell!
Never dealt with the cold side ofit cause its stored in a climate controlled garage, and he doesn't drive it unless the day is absolutley PEFECT with no hint of salt, rain, clouds etc.
