Lamborgini doors for $35....LOL
The name came from the Hot-Rodding era, when suicide doors were a popular thing. They were called suicide doors because of their tendency to commit suicide.
Basically, you should acknowledge the fact that a rearward opening door, at high speed will act like an airplanes flaps, creating drag. At 60 or 70 MPH, if you were to accidentally open the door, it would fold back and tear completely off - commit suicide, hence the name suicide doors.
They sell braided cables that latch to protect the door from being torn off if they are accidentally opened at high speed. But most people simply lock their door once inside as a safety.

If you are going to spend 2000 for a set of doors, it'd be crazy not to go ahead and shave them, remove the inner release latch and use a set of electronic door poppers.
That way she can't get in or out without you as a gentlman getting out and opening the door for her. just have the key fob in your hand, click the button and swing the door out for her.
I'm also removing the passenger side power window button. I may open the door for her, but I don't give a **** about her hair. My ride, my windows, stay down, period.
