If it were mine I would probably paint everything but the scoop (Like the manta decal for SS hoods). I saw someone that did that to theres on one of these sites and it looked bad ***. Either way it looks bad *** as is, just another option.

 

That hood does look awesome on the LT1....
If I had an LT1, I'd love to have that hood.... It would look killer on a white Camaro if everything was painted, except the hood scoop.

All in all... I like! I wish they made a version with more fluid lines for the LS1.

 

Not sure what you mean by "fluid lines" but if you look at the first post, he does say that they make an LS1 version.

I `m not real big on carbon fiber hoods also please do not get caught in a rain storm with those side vents. Are they completely open?

 

does anyone ended up getting that hood? Anymore pics? where can i get one?

Yes, I have had the hood for 3 years or so now, still looks great but the design has been discontinued, only the hood scoop style is available, no more reverse vents.

 

can u send me some pics? who made the hood?
