I saw that hood a couple weeks ago, on ebay.... The only thing that I don't like is the styling of the side vents.... They don't "flow" with the rest of the hood, or the car. They are too boxy. I saw a T/A hood once that flowed very well, and had the vents in a similiar position... I always thought that hood looked good....
Hopefully there will be a version 2.

go to my link, the hood is only sitting on the car in these pics. the hood does not fit correctly, I had to fight with the ebay seller to get some of my money back. The hood is molded with sides and it hits all of the fender mounting bolts. I have had to notch for all of them, re-fiberglass, and paint.
I still have some fitment issues to work out. The hood looks awesome but is not worth the money for all the probs.

once I get it done I will post pics out of the garage

That's a sad story...the hood looks damn good on that car... but just remember almost all aftermarket hoods have to be modified in someway... some just have more imperfections than others, so don't be surprised if you do need to cut and fiber glass things.
I expected a little massaging, but for almost $850.00 shipped, I expected minimal work. I paid for the carbon look and I dont want to have to paint over it, that will just pee me off. When I had my Cowl from ascd, I had to do a skim coat on the top but I expected that with fiberglass, carbon is supposed to be a ready and go hood, not modify to fit.

im leaning more on the side of an import car look. i would have to see better pics of a car with it on to be sure. i think the vents are to sharp and rough cut looking beside a nice, smooth, and curved hood scoop. the two just dont go together. nor does it go with the edges on the camaro. and how close is the vents to the pcm?
I wouldn't care if it only weighed 2 ounces either.
