I bought some black altezzas from ebay and can't get them in! If you know how or have had the same problems, please tell me how. The back of them, where the two holes that the lights go into, both protrude out instead of one sticking out and the other hole staying back further. I don't know if I should dent the car back where the lights go into to be able to fit them in or what!

I can't picture exactly what you're talking about, but wouldn't it be better to alter the taillight instead of "denting the car"?

Like he said, an I said earlier; just take your time an play around with them; they will fit; but it's a bitch. Took me almost 2 hours to get mine to fit just right; but I also had to take quite a few smoke breaks due to frustration.

Hey JJ! Just a heads up, you'll never get ahead in life spouting off at the mouth about things you don't know about. In this case you're the newb unfortunately I've been around this site a lot longer than anybody in this entire appearance section nice try though.

Maybe thats the problem. Ive purchased things off of ebay before and most of the time it has been ok. you get a lower price but sometimes sacrifice quality. Sometimes ill pay more for a certain product because of the better customer support the manufacturer has or better instuctions or what have you. Have you contacted the seller for help? Hope it works out.

Brent the moderator of this forum bought some aftermarket lights off ebay and said he had problems bolting them up. I believe he decided not to put them on. Maybe he'll post.

Wow, you all got pretty heated in this discussion. I'm 26 and have carbon fiber tails, that doesn't make my car a ricer in my book- if you look at many of the new gm vehicles it seems that they are taking ques from european design. Times are changing and so are the appearance of cars. I still choose to drive a camaro over a honda- so does everyone else on the site, I thought we were all on the same side. Blondchile, I didn't have any trouble fitting mine into place- like evil lord lucas said, make sure the wires are all clear and try lining up the two post and shifting them side to side a little.

Dude you were not wanted when you were posting as crazyjim so what the hell makes you think we want you hear now? Leave the guy alone. He paid for the car you didnt. So untill you buy the car for him and buy the tails dont flame him.
