outer ttop trim...

ive been replacing small worn things on my car as of late since its been turned into my weekend project now that school has started again. the outer trim on my ttops have been bugging me, its always been faded to some sort of dark grey. im talking about the rubberish surround that is on the exterior of the glass ttop, it surrounds the entire square of the ttop. does GM sell a replacement for this piece?

ive been using back to black on it ever since i got the car, but it only seems to last for a few hours before its back to being faded ugly and out of place again have any of you brought it back to black for good? or do you just ignore it?

checked that thread a while back and couldn't find anything.

anyone know of a dye or anything i can try on that rubber material to dye it back to black? or will any kind of paint work do you think? mine pretty much looks gray/brown now, almost like a dry-rotted color.

I carefully apply armor-all and it seems to last for a while at least-shines it up real nice. Other than that I think you would have to buy new t-tops.

i used to use back to black ALL the time. it stayed black for about 5 minutes, then back to brown. and this was after trying 20 different methods of applying it. :-( i can try armor all, or maybe ill look into a paint of some sort.
