Glove compartment sags

Okay got a 02' Camaro Z28 and it is near perfect condition(so far I have noted 3 flaws, a small scratch on the right mirror housing, a small chip of tint missing on the back window(I mean like a millimeter radius) and the glove compartment). The glove compartment hangs open just a hair, but it is enough to have the light in there stay on. I pointed this out to the guy at the dealership when i bought it and they said they tightened it up but it either was never done or it just has drooped down again.

Any suggestions?

you can remove the light, or do something like glue a piece of foam on the door where it hits the sensor so that it makes for a tighter fit and thus, turns your light off. My glovebox in both my T/As always had about 1/2 of slack. You could never tell and my light never went on but if you pushed it up towards the dash, it definitely had some slack in it. good luck

In our '95, I tightened the handle and that fixed the majority of the problem. Still a pretty poor fit though.
