Question Ground Effects Removal Question

I'm thinking about buying a 2000 Z28 and I guess I'm a little old school, but I do not like the factory ground effects. Can anyone tell me what I'm up against removing these? Will there be paint underneath them...Rivets that need to be ground down...? ANY help on this would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

The RS ground effects? Isn't the front piece part of the bumper? Side skirts and rear lip should come out no problem and it should be painted since the ground effects were an option. Not sure how they are held on there, double sided tape maybe?

Maybe a stupid question but do RS ground effects come on Z28s? I know they are factory pieces I will have to look at the car again to see if the nose facia and ground effect are one piece. I hope not, It would probably look stupid and not match if I removed the ground effects and was unable to remove the nose pieces.

If that's not what yours look like then you either have no ground effects or you have some aftermarket stuff.
