FF75 Install ??
Re: FF75 Install ??
Eagle how come you had to dremel out the stock housings? I've seen some pics of FF75 installs where people say you don't have to cut anything. Here is the post. http://web.camaross.com/forums/showthread.php?t=330915
I'm planning on installing my tom and plan to do them just like that. It looks like he just removed stuff and drilled a hole for each light, wired it up and called it a day.

Re: FF75 Install ??
He was doing headlights. I did driving lights where my fogs where. And I still have to do some fine tuning with the adjustments of them, but they are in and working. They rock. After im done messing with the adjustments, ill put up the pics. I still need to take a few pics of some key items.

I bought a FF75 driving light kit to mount in the place of my fogs (that I really don't need with the Hella 90mm's I have now, especially once I finish putting HID in the low beams) I will wire them to come on with the high beams. What exaclty did you have to cut to make it fit?

However, basically what I did was dremel out the inside of the foglight bracket so the FF75 would fit. Then, got some small L brackets from the hardware store and used those to mount the FF75 to the foglight bracket. And to ease getting them in and out, I cut the entire top off of the foglight bracket, basically right above the mounting tabs on the bracket. This way, I can put them in from the front. Makes it alot easier. May not be the best way to do it, but its easy and simple.

Alright, here are a few pics of the beginning of the project. I got kind of hurried at the end and didnt take picture of it. So ill try to take some tommorow of what they look like on the car, and hopefully youll be able to figure out what I did from those pics.
