export lights

We had been looking for the export tail lights for the 2002 SS, but since we dont have that one anymore we stopped. Well thanks to the newest edition to our family, 2001 Z28, we started looking for the export tail lights again. The dealership cant get them and all the other places we have looked cant get them as well. We even saw a picture of a newer camaro that had them. Does anyone know where you can find them? Thank you!

Yes,they are very rare. No more in the states. Look on E-Bay. Every once and awhile there is a guy out of Japan who is selling a set. It seems they like the solid color that is on our 93-96 cars. Go figure! They are getting very expensive though. $400-$500 asking price. I paid $250 for mine 3 years ago and thought that was high.
Good luck,
Fred

Personally, I prefer the solid color myself as well. Plus, no way would I pay no 400+ for a set of damn taillights...seriously...
