yeah it was dupicolor for the fuelrails too and I just lightly went over them with 800 grit just to prep them a little.

It looks even better since his car's a 30th anniversary. I've seen it in person a few times. What you can't tell about the silver from the pics is that it has a nice metallic luster to it. I'd love for mine to look that nice some day.

I I don't recall for sure on the fual rails, but I think it was 40-80-120-500ish-1200ish-1500ish and a helluva lot of time. I wish I had better pics, but believe me, it looked good as a whole.

No I have the engine on the stand but I'm debating waiting on money for a new cam. I finished the rest of the front end suspension though (ball joints and bushings), got new rear rotors, got the new tires on and the car on wheels.

Well, if you think you have any desire to put a bigger cam in it, you might as well do it while the engine's already out of the car. I guess I can't blame you there. Even if it takes a while to work up the money, you've got the MR2 to drive in the meantime.

Did you have to put a clear coat on the flat black? Oh, I was at Autozone getting the paint and they don't carry Duplicolor engine enamel anymore. They now have Rustolem engine enamel.

Not an LT1 but gives you the general idea..I did mine in ford blue..yea yea i know i know, they have a nicer looking blue though ha
