Engine bay project

Ok, I've jumped on the band wagon. Everyone seems to be working on their engine bays so I thought I should get started on mine.

To start off, I employed my sanding and painting abilities on my headlight housings and brackets, not to mention I painted the cross member that the airbox bolts too. Here are a few pictures, nothing special.

If anyone knows of something that will remove the remnants of that sticker that I tried to remove, let me know.

That looks nice, but you should post some before pics if you have any.

That looks really good! Try some bug and tar remover for the glue from the sticker(s).

I like your nose emblem. But this is engine bay stuff, so I think maybe a battery cover, change the caps for fluid stuff, that stuff is all secondary of course. I think perhaps a new intake cleaner assembly ma-bob woudl help. I saw some cool transparent ones before. Really catches your eye.

On a larger scale, I would work out ot make little things accent together, like chrome parts or gloss painted stuff.

"Goof off!"(It's flammable, watch out!!) for the sticker residue. I'm not sure if it will hurt your paint though.

How'd you paint that center bumper support piece? That looks really clean.

I removed it and painted. It comes out quite easily. Just be sure to use some clear on top of the base paint.

Yeah... My buddy tried that and it cracked like crazy! -Over time that is..

I'll have to try my version.. Sand it good, I'd imagine.. rough sanding w/ etching primer.
