Dashboard swap
1. Remove driver's seat.
2. Remove A-pillar moldings.
3. Remove plastic panel on underside of dash on driver's side.
4. Remove plastic panel on front of dash surrounding guage cluster.
5. Remove and unplug guage cluster.
6. Remove nuts in the V-shaped bracket on underside of dash on driver's side to drop steering column.
7. Remove kick panels.
8. Remove plastic piece with defrost vent on top of dash that meets windshield.
9. Remove plastic trim piece that surrounds the radio and A/C controls.
10. Remove radio.
11. Remove A/C control panel. This is to be done the following way:
13. Look underneath dash down on either side where the kick panels were. You will notice a bracket with a large nut that secures a beam that runs crossways from one side of the dash to the other. Remove the nut on each side of the dash. This is the main support beam for the dash. You should now be able to pull the dash completely free from the firewall.
14. Remove the panel on the driver's side of the dash that conceals the fuse
box. Remove the one hex head screw securing the fuse box to the inside of the dash and let the fuse box hang free.
15. On the passenger's side, unplug the wiring harness for the airbag inside of the dash cavity from the little computer device which is attached to the firewall.
16. Remove original dash assembly from car.
17. Install new dash in car following steps 1 through 15 in reverse order.
2. Remove A-pillar moldings.
3. Remove plastic panel on underside of dash on driver's side.
4. Remove plastic panel on front of dash surrounding guage cluster.

9. Remove plastic trim piece that surrounds the radio and A/C controls.
10. Remove radio.
11. Remove A/C control panel. This is to be done the following way:
1. Remove the screws securing the control panel from the dash
and pull the panel out to expose the wires/plugs.
2. Unplug the wires for the control panel illumination. (Gray wires.)
3. Unplug the harness for the "Low/High" ****, the small white plug, and
plug directly beneath with the male prongs.
4. The **** for the "Hot/Cold" controls is a mechanical control. The way
to remove this is by unscrewing the **** apparatus from BEHIND the
control panel. In order to get the apparatus completely free, you will
have to pull the **** off the front of the control panel. This will be
installed the same way when the new dash is put in.
5. The wires for the "Off/Max/A/C" **** are to be disconnected at the
blue/green colored plug. The wires themselves are about 1.5 feet long
so you may have to pull on them a little to expose the plug.
Disconnect.
12. Inspect the area at the top of the dash where the dash framework meets the firewall. Locate all of the hex head screws that secure the top part of the dash's frame to the firewall. (I believe there are 6.) Remove screws.and pull the panel out to expose the wires/plugs.
