Has anyone tried mounting gauges on their dash with a pod like this?

I've seen a wide, low profile one for 4th gens before... Held 5, count em; 5 gauges. Sorry, I don't know who made it or where it came from. May have been an Autometer product, not sure.

Do you have any close ups of the pod and how the wiring is tucked?

Re: dash mounted gauge pod

nope. these are just the pictures the guy sent me of the pod that i bought from him. i have not as of yet installed it in my camaro. from those pics i would guess he drilled a hole to send the wires through the vents...

Re: dash mounted gauge pod

the only thing i never liked about running aftermarket gauges...is once they are installed someplace on the dash or a-pillar...if u gotta take them off, theres no easy way to unhook them like the rest of the cars wiring harnesses. EGT probes an all these other lines attached to them an now when u gotta fix something in the car you have wires you cant unhook unless u cut them.
