Dash Board Removal

My fog lights dont work. The little orange light on the switch doesnt come on either when i flick the switch over. So im guessing it isnt getting any power. I Checked all the wires that hook into the two fog lamps. They are in. So how can i check if the switch is connected or not connected, do i have to remove the dash? If so how do i remove the dash, thats gotta be a pain. By the way its a 1993 Z28.

Thanks

Cory

Check your fuses. Its not your fog lights up front your just not getting power from the battery to the switch. If your fuses are good then tear the dash apart and check the switch wires to make sure there all secure. Its not that hard to take apart it might take you 20 minutes the first time. Just look for screws to remove.

Yea its not that hard to do because you aren't really taking the dash apart, you are just taking off the bezel piece or whatever its called and the bottom part that covers all the wires and stuff, its like 5 screws or something...now taking the dash off thats a whole other story....

...I removed my entire dash all the way to the firewall and boy was that a mess and it took a lot longer than 20 minutes for that, but anyway I have a feeling you have a bad connection somewhere right behind the switch, maybe a bad ground or something (assuming the fuse is fine, but check the fuse first)
