When you order touchup paint directly from GM, the description of the color (code 48) is "dark yellow green metallic". That's the GM generic name, since the same color was called different names on different car lines.... its "dark green metallic" on the Firebird, and "polo green metallic" on the Camaro.

The code WA 9806 is also used for "dark yellow green metallic". See this source:

SWEET, my 2nd sighting of someone posting my site other than me!

Now... if only I was making money off of it... I could have made at least $0.04 by now.

I'm off topic now, but I just learned of a certain one-of-a-kind '95 Camaro a few days ago I'll be adding to my site. I had to contact GM to get photos of it! It was a car created by GM and sold at auction with the proceeds going to charity and it's super sweet and something I've never seen or heard about before.

How's that for a teaser?

And... it's true too!
