What about the recessed "camaro" that IS one thing I like.... or maybe if it was lifted like the c4's

Well, I can do pretty much anything within reason recessed into the panel, but have something that sticks out might be out of the realm at this point.

Im happy with just the panel at this point. As long as the panel is done and looks good im happy.

Those inset lights look much better than whistlers "flush" design in my opinion.

It is a complete replacement panel. The inset lights are why I built the damn thing, I was going to be a customer of Whistler and when I saw the flush mounted design, and particularly how it meets with the trunk, I knew I couldn't deal with that. The reason he mounted them flush is the lack of room for the exterior taillights. The room is very limited, especially on the passenger side due to the spare tire, this is where the modifying will have to take place. Having the lights flush is the easy way and can be done on this panel if you use shim; the recessed lights will be harder and require modding after you have the panel, but I think it will look much better. Ill see if I can get pics on Tuesday after it is surfaced and maybe pics on the car on Wednesday, this is where you can see the difference in how it meets with the trunk.

Looks like they're almost ready. I'll vouch for lownslocamaro's worth. The man knows his s**t. He taught me a skill in less than 5 minutes (on this board) so dont doubt him, just spend some money wit him. I think whistler was just too busy to mass produce the panel, but I'm still going to him for the front end conversion.

lownslocamaro is gettin a free 15pc. $500 carbon fiber kit from me as soon as i make the second kit. So how is that for trust and gratitude? I kinda like my factory lights, and really dont like altezzas for 4th gens , but before nopi 2004 this year I might be buying a c5 panel my d**m self.

And to whoever that was that said forget about the c5 and go for the c6, does'nt know how hard it is to actually fabricate fiberglass parts from scratch!!! You must have an extra C6 corvette sitting in your garage to make a mold with. If your so eager to have one made, DO IT YOURSELF!!!! And while your at it send me all your stock OEM interior panels so I can put carbon and resin along with wax on them. Since you have an extra $60,000 corvette to use as a donor!!!! simply put...........
