It never happened...

We need to make a sticky saying that whistler never came through with the panel

Well, now seems as good a time as any, I have a c5 tail light panel that should be in production in the next 30 days, if someone can post pics for me, everyone can get a sneak preview.

Well, I sent the pics to AW/Whitez-28 so perhaps everyone can take a peek, I do plan on producing a small amount of these, more if there is some actual demand my company will be producing these entirely in our shop, I have a great deal of experience with fiberglass and mold construction through the boating industry(I built big yachts for a while).

Once the pics are posted, there are some differences between my design and the Whistler design, mostly in how the lights are mounted and how everything meets with the trunk lid. The current design features recessed lighting buckets which gives us options. If you want the lights recessed, they are ready, if you want them flush, you can simply shim them to the outside. The pics also show that there are no provisions for the CAMARO letters and the key hole. This is a plug, not a mold. Once the plug is molded, we will have options, if you want the key hole, an insert will be installed before your part is made. If you want the CAMARO on there, I have 3D plastic printouts of the letters which will be installed in the mold for your part. This lets us have it completely shaved, or with all the details, I can even put your name on the back of it, molded in if you want it. The image shows the plug, it should be surfaced with our plug surfacer early next week and then molded by the end of next week, followed by production.
