formulatx, I was just looking at your pics and noticed you must live in my old neiborhood on base in Hawaii. I lived on Moffett Pl on K-Bay from 2002-2005. What a trip!

Just took mine off today; what a great punishment this would for an unruley kid. Make'em take your door panels off with out any but their own 2 hands.

I've contemplated removing that side molding for years and I finally did it today (I have a red LT1 Trans Am). If anyone is considering it at all.... DO IT!!! It looks so much better! Very clean looking. Makes the whole car look newer

I just used fishing line to saw the adhesive off, then hit the adhesive left with some Goo-Gone and used a rag to continually peel back the edge and work my way down the whole door. It was actually pretty easy and looks perfect. My car is 12+ years old with 87,000 miles and it you can't even tell anything was on there before. I'm happy

I took all of the thick black ugly trim off my 2000 Silverado........it made it looks sweet.

I pulled off the trim and then used an eraser wheel to take off 3m take, and then I used adhesive remover to take off the rest. Gave it a good hand wax and I was done.

You have to watch out when you use the eraser wheel......it is hooked up to a drill and if you don't watch what your doing you will burn the paint.

Here is a picture of the truck after...........sorry I have no pictures from before.
