it depends alot on hte local shop, the one I am looking at had a z freshly painted, looked good, good attention to detail.

I will be taking mine in fairly soon. The original paint is starting to go, sniff sniff, and yes the works package is guaranteed for like 5 or 7 years, so no fears.

I dont know if MAACO is company or they franchise out, like Taco Bell, but I would check the place out and talk to whom would be prepping/painting the car.. Do they use Brand name paint (House of Colors, PPG, ect.) or brand XXX???..... If you have a local car paint store stop by and ask who they recommend....

You usually get what you pay for....

Yes Maaco is a franchise, so it does matter where you go. The one where I live is pretty good. I looked at there jobs and the looked fine. It is definitely worth the money for "the works" package. The painters themselves are quite skilled but the prep work is horrible (they just run a big sander over the car then start painting. Do the prepwork yourself or get them to do the bulk then touch it up

If I had a place to paint I'd definately do it, but I don't. SO maaco it is. I will do all of the prep work short of taping up the windows, so hopefully it will come out decent. Right now, half of it is spray painted so I am not expecting much more.

It was about $800, I forgot the name of it(you know how they have names like "President", and "ambassador") It was the $799 one, but they were running a special and we had a coupon from somewhere that knocked $100 off. So it ended up being like $500, lots of stuff marked off on it.

I'll see if I can dig up any pics that show off the paint better
