wiring help to ID thin green wire in harness

Getting ready to put the engine back in the old girl and this wire has no end, and I can't remember anything about it.

Always tricky without the year of the vehicle, and the engine type. And... where exactly on the chassis is that batch of connectors located?

Maybe, if it's a 95 (+/-) and an LT1, Shoebox's "clickable" harness diagram will help:

1995 Z28 A4 Engine Harness

But then maybe it's not even part of the engine harness.

That looks like the loaction of the coil/icm. Kinda looks like temp gauge sensor wire. As Fred states, really need year to be sure.

yep... chalk my stupidity up to me being in a rush and a bit scared of what I may have destroyed...

This is a 1995 Camaro, LT1, T56 car.

Thanks guys, I'll go back out to the garage later tonight and layout the wiring harness a bit better in hopes to tell you where abouts it is situated.

And the Shoebox links are very helpful, thanks guys

And if it's the temp sensor for the coolant temp gauge, Shoebox has the pigtail part #:

AC Delco PT728 - ECT sensor in head for gauge - GM 12126458
