??? about VFN fiberglass 2 inch cowl hood for 95 Camaro.

I picked up a VFN fiberglass 2 inch cowl hood locally last week for $230 from this chick that sold her car. Its in perfect condition. In the process of installing the hood I have noticed that my stock bolts for the hook beside the latch and the bolts on the bottom of the hood (up near the wipers) will not screw in all the way. The stock bolts for the struts and the latch which are smaller work perfectly. Anyone with a VFN hood know if there are special bolts that come with these hoods from them to install on these cars??? I called them but I talked to some chick who claims there isn't and I can use my factory bolts but I'm not trusting her response because I can't get them to tighten at all and I don't want to damage the hood trying to get them tight.

If I'm not mistaken somebody had 1 of these for sale recently in the for sale section and I believe they mentioned something about special bolts that came with this from VFN. Anybody else wanna chime in??? I'm planning to call them back or email them tomorrow.

Make sure you're not cross-threading.

I'm pretty sure they aren't crosthreaded. Its 4 bolts and they get to a certain point and won't go any further. They are nowhere near tight. That's what's leads me to believe they are the wrong bolts for this particular hood.

DO NOT USE YOUR FACTORY BOLTS-They use 5/16" Standard bolts for the backs and 1/4x20 for the struts and latch, if you use your regular factory bolts they will strip out the inserts in your hood,

Thanks but I've already found out that the stock bolts do not work. Endo gave the correct sizes above. Learned an expensive lesson with this as I have ordered a brand new flat fiberglass hood from vfn that should be here in a couple of weeks.
