Polished my fuel rails and intake manifold
Picked up a $10 polishing kit at Home Depot today and went to town on the fuel rails and the top of the manifold. In all I have about 2 hours into this. The fuel rails were really easy to do and didn't take much time at all. I started with the rough polish and work my way down to the very fine polish. 4 stages in all. The top of the manifold I started with 150 grit on the sanding block then progressed to 340, 400, 1200, 2000 then went threw the polishing stages. It probably would have helped to have 600 or 800 grit around but I didn't want to run out and buy some. The best part was I didn't have to removed the rails (just removed the bolts and MAP sensor) or manifold at all. It helped a bunch to have a dremal with felt rollers to get in between the injectors on the sides.
