From the photoshop that I did it looks good but I'll have to wait and see, unfortunately my process is being held up by somebody else I cant do the headlights til the bumpers done and cant finish the bumper til I get the friggin supercharger bracket cut I hate waitin on people especially when I'm fired up and ready to go.

I have yet to see anything of any value since the pictures were posted..but even then the guy refused to post any pictures of the mount or close ups IIRC...

I've found its best to just do something yourself if you want something done...which is why I put c/k headlights in my car.

 

I haven't been on here in ages but this thread should be kept alive for the sake of figuring out how to make this happen... Everyone knows LT1 headlights suck and I personally think all the other set ups make the Camaro look like an alien...

Someone with the resources should really step up and document this thing (easy for me to say I know).

This makes the LT1 Camaro look updated and down right sinister if it had other mods to complement the headlights. Especially if the eyelids and stingray were black...

 

I might be willing to try it, but only if someone had or had access to a set of headlights and brackets they were willing to dump...even one headlight would be enough to work with since everything is pretty similar from side to side.

I'm happy with my lights now or else I would be more inclined to try it for myself.

 

Well this is what i see, where the cuts were made or need to be made.

 

I think everybody is just scared about sealing the parts back up, plus mounting them. Shoot, I wouldn't want to be the first to try either.

 

I am also concerned with how it would look with the hood open- that matters to me just as much as with it closed.

With the c/k pickup headlights most people just assume they are stock- which is the way I want. I would love the LS1 style, but not if it involves it looking like a hack job once the hood is popped...and making a cover to hide the cuts is going to look out of place too IMO..

 

will someone just grow some B@LLS and do the mod already? lol im tempted to do it myself,

Well you better do a good quality job or we're going to rag on you for it! lol

 

we all know it will look good just will it hold up and will you be able to switch back to stock if you want to down the road. Its a big change to make and kinda one of them no turning back mods.
