98 + headlight covers

I just got my carbon fiber projector headlights in the mail, my first opinion of them is the look better in the pictures i've seen than up close. Anyway how the f$$k do you get these things in ? They don't come with any velcrow like my friends did for his 94. All the instructions say is slide them between the metal and the rubber strip. Well i've tried everything i've taken the headlights out loosened the rubber strip around them but they still won't go in. They don't even look like they fit and cover the whole head light any suggestions would be appreciated

They sometimes take a little work to get them in. I found that the easiest way to put them in is is put the inside in first. The side closest to the center of the car on the light. Just wedge it between the headlight and the nose piece. Once you have it in, put iit against the headlight and the slowly fit it between the fender and the headlight. Use a little silicon spray on the rubber the goes around the headlight. It helps the cover slide a little smoother. When I had these. It take s a little work to center them so that there was no headlight showing. If need be, I can probably get you some pics later. I think I still have a set of covers. Just drop me an e-mail.
