95 Z28 apperance

Hey guys I got a black z and I'm trying to decide in some cheap appearance mods to set it apart from some of the other FBodys here in town. I've been on debate about clear or smoked corner lienses and I think I'm going with the smoked third brake light. I'm changing the red bowtie on the front bumper to tarheel blue. It does not have any z badges on it but thought bout doing some. Any opinions or ideas? Like I said im not looking to spend a whole lot just a little to make it different. Pics would be great to to show me ideas also.

Check out the cars on cardomain.com to get some ideas of ppl on that site. Or find some LT1 pic threads. Post some pix of your car. What color is it?

Re: 95 Z28 apperance

I'm gonna work on pics today since I'm off work. And I got a part time job and full time bills. I usually only have $100/$200 every couple weeks I can put into it so cheap lol. Eventually I want it lowered and torq thrust II on it 8.5 on front and 10 or 11 on back thought bout ss hood and spoiler but kinda thought bout leaving it plane on the out side like that for sleeper reasons but I'm not sure. Leaving it black though.

Honestly one of my favorite appearance "mod" was adding the vinyl overlay to the Z28 emblems. They were black on green, now they are metallic silver on green. It really looks sharp IMO. I bought them from Bfranker. I think he's a sponsor on this site now.

I also bought the red reflective bowtie overlay for the small bowtie that is on the rear Z28 emblem as well as a metallic silver vinyl CAMARO inlay. There are some pics in this post.

I do not believe, at the time, all of it together cost me more than 30 bucks shipped. Well worth it IMO.

Good Luck

See I thought about doing silver badges on it then doing my bowties in a "North Carolina Tarheel" blue and changing the Chevy badge on the nose to the LT1 with flames

Looks good

I hate the in dash kit, I have the same one. It looks like manufacturers would make one with a more coarse pattern molded in it to match better. I really want to do something different with my radio.

Rear taillight blackouts (i have the GTS snap ons) look pretty sweet if ur into that sort of thing. Got mine for like $40 on ebay. Very good quality and snap right over the tails and snap right off with ease if need to take em off for any reason. Really change the look of the car. Mine is dark green with black accents so it works.

Also, black tint on the hatch glass looks awesome too. No more than 15% IMO but can get what u want.

Re: 95 Z28 apperance

It's got pretty dark all the way around right now my buddy owns a tint shop here this winter we are gonna strip it down and retint it probably 5% on back and 30% on front It's how all my other camaros have been. I'm looking at doing remote start with alarm and add on of the window options of them rolling down when it starts.

I'm with you on the silver badges but IDK about the Tarheel blue. I mean I like Jordan to but not that much to put that color on a black car LOL jk

I think another color to flow better with the tie IMO
