3rd gen stripes dimensions/template? Painting engine compartment?

I may be getting my car repainted (red to black), and I'd like to get stripes on it since it's the RS model and there is nothing on the hood. I can't find the dimensions or a template for the stripes so I can get them painted on, I don't want stickers/vynals. Can someone tell me where I can get this?

To my other question, is it possible to paint the engine compartment without having to rip everything out? Even if I kept it red I'd want the engine compartment painted, so no one tell me that I should just keep it red.

as for the engine bay you can unbolt everything from the fender wells and paint them but the firewall is a pain in the *** unless you pull the motor. i just unbolted everything that i could and used wire to pull and hold them back away from the fenderwells while i was painting it looked pretty good but really hte right way is the pull out everything have fun

Re: 3rd gen stripes dimensions/template? Painting engine compartment?

Then how do I drive it to the painter afterwords?

The problem is that I'm a perfectionist, and I'm really worried that it isn't going to turn out like I hope it will because I know I'll notice anything that isn't right. That if I get it painted black that the reflection won't be right or that there will be places where the old paint can't be taken off without the car being gutted, but I know can't change the color without that risk. Then I'm wondering if I should take the ground effects off myself so he can paint the body under them and then paint them on all sides and if I should take off the interior trim by the doors myself. I'll spare you the rest of my worries. I do need to get it painted though, because someone that had the car before me reapinted it and painted over the stock paint job, so now the clear coat is cracking, the paint is chipping for no reason, etc. etc.
