I'd get into the 700$ range for the intake if we had concrete dyno runs showing a definate gain accross the board. Im sure people would be all over it in their engine builds.

Wanted to know if anyone purchased and modified FAST/Wilson SBC composite intake to EFI. Who will own the title as the world's first LT(X) with a thermal plastic intake. Anyone......

Gripen,

I was referring to the link Bret, posted on page 4. Do you have any new status on this project?

Re: What happened to the Plastic LT1 intake idea?

I personally think an LT1 composite intake would reap untold benefits for our cars and produce much better gains than even seen with the LS(X)'s because LS1's aready have the benefit of a plastic freer flowing intake from the factory unlike us to begin with. I would gladly pay $1000 for such a piece only because I know it would be such a benefit to our motor's performance.

Hell for a grand I would put some EFI bungs in one of those FAST composite SBC intakes and go from there.

Bret,

Do you know how much those Fast/Wilson resin SBC intakes are going for? I believe I've heard over a 1K but not sure. The clock is still ticking for someone to possess the World's First thermal plastic LT(x).

Bret,

Sorry about the confusion but I was referring to the link http://www.wilsonmanifolds.com/news/12_30_04.jpg that Hot Rod Hawk had posted on 4th page of this thread. I'm sure bunging it wouldn't pose a problem since the LS(x) community have been doing it for direct nitrous ports. Anyone....
