What happened to the Plastic LT1 intake idea?

I did a search and didn't find anything.

What ever happened to the idea of someone making a plastic LT1 intake?

NICE!

If it costs the same as an LS6 manifold count me in! ($450)

The FAST LSX is a bit too much IMO. ($850)

I've seen a carbed SBC intake made of the same material as the FAST LS1 intakes. Not a LT1 intake but that's as close as you are going to get.

Re: What happened to the Plastic LT1 intake idea?

What would be the advantages to a plastic intake, any HP/TQ gain? Sorry if I am out of my league but I am just wondering.
