Too much compression?

Too much compression?
I'll be getting my block and rotating assembly back from the machine shop in a week or so. I'll be building a 355 and have started wondering if I'll have too much compression for my rotating assembly. I calculated that I'll have around 10.7:1 static CR and 8.47:1 dynamic CR. My bottom end consists of a Scat 9000 cast crank, GM X-rods w/ Pioneer bolts, cast rings and Speed pro hyperuetetic flat taps. I don't plan on turning over 6000 rpm and it will be a weekend street engine. I'll be running Brodix IK180 heads so I think I'll be ok for 93 octane pump gas, but I'm concerned that it might be a little much for my rotating assembly. What do you guys think?

I think I should be ok with aluminum heads and 10.7:1 compression. Another question someone else brought up is the head gasket I had planned on using. I was looking at the Fel-Pro 1094 which is the .015 compressed thickness head gasket that Fel-Pro has. Someone mentioned that the steel wire around the bore might mess up the aluminum heads. Is anyone out there using this gasket with aluminum heads?
