The SB2 LT1 lives

Just giving an update. Finally after 20 months it moves uder it's own power. I have a buch of things to do yet but it's downhill from here...I think. How do you think it sounds?

Umm... can you please tell me how I get one of those? For real... that sounded absolutely ridiculous. I would love to know what you have done to that thing in detail! Any lists in the forums?

What kind of mufflers are you using. Its MUCH quieter and smoother idling than I would have anticipated. Not a bad thing, at all .

396 ci LT1 block with billet 4 bolt caps filled to the freeze plugs with block filler.
Callies Magnum crank
Oliver billet 5.85" rods
Diamond SB2.2 13.5-1 pistons with offset pins, nitrous ring package, friction coated skirts
Cam Motion solid roller for SB2 with a 4-7 swap 270/280 @ .050 .690/.710 113 lsa
Isky Red Zone offset lifters
Smith Bros pushrods
GM SB2 heads converted to reverse cooling, 287cc runners, 48cc chambers, 379 cfm I / 260 cfm E @ .700, 304 cfm I @ .400
Del West Ti valves 2.15/1.65
T&D shaft rockers, 1.8 I / 1.7 E
Accel Gen 7 dfi, Accel dfi distributor, 83lb injectors
SB2 resrictor plate intake, Accufab 2200 cfm throttle body
Lemons headers 2" primary / 4" collector
Spintech dual 4" oval with Spintech 4" oval shootout mufflers countersunk into custom pockets in the floor under the seats. Turndowns

Motor makes 740 @ 7900 and 520 lbft @ 5200 on the engine dyno. It makes 500 lbft from 3500 to 7000. Ignition cutoff is 8600

NX system with STD nozzles in each port, super shark N2O solenoid / two big iceman fuel solenoids. Two double billet rails, -6 feed line, two 15 lb bottles, FJO controller Currently jetted for a 200 hit at the wheels, after testing and chassis sorting it will be 350 at the wheels.

Mcleod LS1 blow proof bellhousing, push type twin disk clutch, G-Force built T56 with 9310 alloy internals, 30 spline output, viper front plate and custom spacer for a standard LS1 throwout bearing.
