ok, this may be long... not sure....

ok well this sunday.. my rear end came from beneath me going 70mph on the interstate... in short... flew off the i-10... went into tree with side of front end, flung me around, and SMASHED the rear into a tree(pics in the sig).. well.... look at sig and youl see most of the damage....

engine is FINE (perfect) dyno sheet also in the sig...(did dyno day before its death)

well... i have a 98 v6... auto... im going to pull the motor/tranny from the 2000z28 and put it in the v8.... my friend(a ford mechanic) is going to help with all of it... rly do most of it... i just emailed a local performance shop to ask how much they will charge to do the swap, just the motor, and maybe tranny... and they know me... doubt any discount, but ya never know... well... how much would a typical xfer be.. i have all the wires etc form the z... to put in the v6... i want them JUST to get the motor in, i want to do the g-force t-56 tranny upgrade on it(needs rebuild anyway before wreck)... the main things i can think of are...

- 12 bolt moser getting most of the upgrades for it.. any suggestions?!
- g-force tranny upgrade kit
- CF drive shaft
- i need ALL rear end suspension so that 12 bolt will go into the v6(all after market)
- the front suspension from the Z will be swapped with the motor....
- hooker LT headers/y-pipe
- not sure catback yet... prob cheap one, bc im going witha cutout on it...

anything else i forgot?! im going to drive to their shop tomorrow to ask... ill have 7-9k to spend on this... remember besides for the motor swap.. im paying no labor.. doing most myself... we have the know how for the motor swap but not the physical strength to move the motor at my house...

i rly odnt know, but the guys behind me said they think they saw me hit a bump(and it was wet) and the weight shifted and made me loose traction(side to side) and then i started to fishtail....

if thats not what happened.. i honestly dont know....

Did you try a "search" on the V6 and/or LS1 forums? This isn't "advanced tech", and I know the LT1 swaps are frequent topics on LT1 Tech and V6.
