Post Please Help...Z Problems...

I know this is a common problem, and everyone lately seems to be complaining about it, but I think my problem may be a bit unique.

Lately I've been experiencing some wierd symptoms with my Z. I'll be driving down the road, and then all of sudden at speeds below 40 mph, she'll start missing. And running really rough. Almost like its choking. When I come to a stop, the idle drops really low, and continues to choke. I give it gas, and the rpm's do go up, but the motor just kinda chuggs along as its accelerating. But then, five minutes later, (while driving) it's fine. The motor runs smooth as if nothing ever happened. It's the weirdest thing. My SES light is on, and I had it scanned, and they said there was an EGR system system failure. I forget the code number....but would this make my car run that bad??? I tried resetting the computer by pulling the PCM fuse, and for a short while, maybe 1/2 hour, there's no SES light, and no choking symptoms. The car runs great. <http://web.camaross.com/bb/confused.gif> Could I have a small exhaust leak that would make the car run that way? But seriously, when I reset the computer, the choking problems and the SES light are gone for quite a while. But it seems that after the car is warm...the missing starts happening. Here's what's been changed so far...

1. O2 sensors (new)
2. Fuel filter, (less than year old.)
3. water pump, and new sensor
4. plugs (new)
5. wires (new)
6. cleaned MAF

Any ideas that can be added to my checklist would greatly be appreciated.

This really belongs on the "LT1 Tech" board.... most of the LT1 people from "Advanced Tech" will post there as well.

Moving.....
