oil pressure prob

oil pressure prob

just rebuilt my motor and i am not getting oil to the heads it is filling up the oil filter and seems to lubbing the crank i dropped the tranny and pan it was dripping from the mains but i am not getting any oil in the rocker valley any clue?

i checked out the restrictor plug in the back of the block it's fine the plug in the back of the crank is fine it has a double roller timing chain and ls6 oil pump the spacers i made sure where done right i packed the oil pump with assmb. lube anyone?

Check the restrictors behind the cam gear. There are three
holes that need to be capped.

If those holes are left open, the oil will run back down the timing
chain cover and into the pan.

If you have the flywheel off take a look (remove) the restrictors and check for trash. If the holes are smaller then .100 take them and drill them.If this is a street motor you don't want restrictors in it.If this is the case,plug the L&R oil galley holes with pipe plugs and put it back together and check clearance to flywheel.Another thing that my cause it is a small BC cam with the wrong lifters.
