Need some ideas / help
This is a head and cam car....This is what the dyno sheet looks like

Any ideas on why the TQ is all over the place, The filter was turned on for the HP that is why it is so smooth.

Re: Need some ideas / help
Something is happening at 4750rpm and the motor is starting to die from there on out.... As long as those springs are set to the installed height I mentioned it's not valvetrain...... BTW the cam is basicly my old Engine Masters 214/224 .560/.560 110LSA cam, for emissions and a 6000rpm max/peak, so I know that setup works even with a heavier valve.

could this be spark? i no the coil is old and the opti has 180,000km on it but new cap/rotor...
But the car fells good, it's not like there is a fire fire and you fell it or the eng shakes...
What about lifter set to tight comp r , i have them set 1 turn. but i have done this in the past and had luck and i have set them 1/2 , and 1/4 and saw no diff??

I'm not sure the torque is "all over the place". The joggle at 4750-5000 is only about 5-8 lb-ft below a smooth curve. If you replot it on the same scale as the hp you'll barely see it. Also 95% of max torque is available from 3300 to 5600, and 90% out to 6000. That's pretty flat.
If you continue the averaged torque line shape out to 6250 it's still 350 hp, and if the shape remains about same shape as it is shown, the power peak is very flat about 350 +/- a couple. That's not assuming a straight line torque slope, but an ever increasing down slope as shown, as you would expect.
FWIW, 350 hp is 306 lb ft @6000; 294 @ 6250; 283 @ 6500 and 263 @ 7000.
I'd like to see it run out to 6500, but then again, it's not my engine.
My $.02
