Intake (Again)

I tried to post yesterday but the pics hadn't uploaded yet so here goes again. I took Greg Goode a stock intake cause I really wanted to keep the stock hood with the Dominion 32 valve heads. I just don't really like the hood selection for 4th gen camaro's. Anyway, I thought you guys would get a kick out of what he did so here's some pics: 93 Intake Pics

He's real tuff to get a hold of now that hunting season has started. I would just leave a detailed message on his machine.

UB, did you get those headers yet?

Around here it's bow and arrow deer season. NY is overstocked with white tails, who's only naturally predators are cars and trucks.

Oh and Your bolts are loose

That's probably better than having loose nuts.

I just checked the ticket and today is the 7th day. So you should see them anyday now.

Question of the day: Why doesn't anyone make a solid roller offset lifter for LT1's?

Talk to Jason im sure he already figured it out as his 215 RR heads require offset lifters...

And as far as i know he is using Crower severe duty lifters.

I've got some offset lifters but they are just regular standard height offsets for any SBC which cause you to have to mill the lifter bores. It's not that big of a deal but just another step that I wish we could avoid. Crane makes a correct height solid for an LT1 but not in an offset...

Yep, just mill the lifter bores down.

You can also run offset rockers. Joe Sherman did that with some Iskys on his Engine Masters motor and Hyd Roller lifters.

I know you're running the Dom's who even makes rockers for them. They should be offset since they are so odd anyways.

They actually just use standard stuff, nothing special. I wanted the offset to help with the severe angles the pushrods were at. Wasn't a necessity but since I had the ability to help some I went ahead with it.
