Angry here it is again P0336

Well a few months ago my SES light came on so I had my friend with a snap on scanner read the codes. The only code that came up was the cam shaft positioning sensor was bad or needed to be aligned well I quickly found out that it can’t be moved so I went out and got a new one. After replacing it I went for a test drive. Everything was fine until I decided to turn the car off and restart it. Well 3 seconds after I did so the SES light came right back on. What else could be wrong????? I have a 97 z28 M6 with 83,000 on the clock. Oo yea and the light is ALWAYS on the only times that it turns off is if the car sits for a few days. Then after about ½ hr of driving its back on..

what if there was something wrong with the hermonic balancer. like it wasn't doing its job. would that mess anyting up if yes than what could it damage???

oo yea and its leaking oil form around the crank. very little but it is learking.

Stupid question but is the center bolt tight?

it sounds like the sener wheels has came loose and striped out.

If the senser it self was bad you would get a P0335. P0336 is senser performance.

This would indicate that the senser is not getting a consistant signal

Good luck!
