P0336 indicates a problem in the ckp performance circuit. A couple of causes are timing chain and reluctor wheel. Car is a '96 Formula. It has developed a low rpm miss, noticed mostly at idle and low speed acceleration, say at around 1500 rpms. No misfire codes have been set, yet. No lightshow under the hood at night. How does one go about testing this without taking wp, opti, and timing chain cover off?
