Head studs ???
I just recently pulled my AFR heads with the newer head studs that can been pull off with the allen wrench. Not a big deal at all. So don't worry, very simple to pull the heads without pulling the motor. One long Saturday basically. This is not true for the older stud that can't be pull off with the allen wrench.
Talked to Nick, he was a great help. Get the ARP thread sealant not the lubricant. Put sealant on the bottom threads, both side of the washer, and on the top threads. Without a good sealant you will be leaking coolant into your block since there is a coolant jacket below some of the studs. Also don't over torque the studs, you may strip the block and have to call Nick on a Saturday, screaming for help!
cheers
