You might check with Sullivan Performance to see if they might offer their adaptor in that configuration. It would fit under the factory hood if available.

Accel / LPE used to make one specific to our style Throttle bodies. Good luck finding one. I tried for about 3 months

EDIT: Hmmm Just looked at their catalog. They have it listed. p/n 74882 , $300+. Also listed as "NEW" product, hahaha. I may try and find out some dimensions for it and throw it on my car. My 90mm TB has just given me issues and more issues.

Guys BTDT, it's for a dual 65mm Ford TB. It aint' that simple. I've talked a ton to Scott Sulivan about it.

Atljar: Where did you find the part number 74882? I looked on the accel website with no luck.

I've only looked at the thing on the net. Never seen one or taken any measurements of my own but I have to wonder.... how hard would it be to weld up the mounting holes & redrill/tap them for a GM TB?

Or *gasp* just use the 65mm F*** throttle body.... or am I just missing something here?

Thanks

Wilson makes an "L" and I think he has the mounting kit for either Chevy or Ford.

I have a raw casting in the shop! For the GM TB I have to cut the front of the thing off and weld a new mounting flange on it, barrels full of fun. I should have to do this to the one in the shop this month.

MPM,

I'm still wondering.... why not? The linkage is on the same side and it looks like it'd work. Don't go buying one on my word though. If I did commit to this I'd be prepared to make it work but it all depends on your level of enthusiasm for this kinda thing.

Re: anyone make LT1 style TB adapters for the single plane conversion?

I dont see why it would be hard to make it work. Im using a ford 90mm on mine.

For the throttle linkage I just took the stock throttle bracket from a lt1 TB and welded it onto the ford unit. Cruise and throttle work fine.

TPS is easily converted (both 5v)

IAC...they make adapters that let you run GM style IAC motor on the 90mm. I would "guess" that you could use the same adapter

Atljar:

What is the problem your setup is having? I am going the same exact route you are and I am concerned.
