What camshaft? What is the pph of the LT1 injectors? If you think they are clogged, spend an afternoon and take them to a local tech college if they have a test bed for injectors and you can see if they are clogged. Also use a scantool and see if you are running lean based on the O2 readings when it is backfiring. Without a scantool hoke up a DVOM with one wire grounded and the other in the sensor taking readings and see what you get for a voltage. I guessing that with the ported intakes you might be lean. A TEMPORARY fix in that case would be to crank up the fuel pressure. A true fix would be to reburn the EPROM. At www.fasterproms.com they will burn you a chip, have you run it and take readings, send you the updated chip, take more readings and send you the final one. As to the dieing out, I'd take off the TB and the IAC housing and clean it unless you did that when you put the TB on. Also do this. Short out the A&B terminals of the ALDL, turn the key to the run position and leave it for a minute. Disconnect the IAC and then turn the key off. Remove the short of the A&B terminals and start the car. It probably will die but keep it going with gas till it is at operating temp. Have someone hold the gas while you adjust the screw for the throttle blades and till the car runs without dieing. Depending on the cam, it should be anywhere from 500-750 rpm. Shut engine off, connect IAC. Turn key to run and reset TPS to 0.54V. Turn off key and restart and see what happens.

PS. Stop shouting.

really.

but , to add to what aklim said, also look at the fuel press. regulator to make sure it is not ruptured and leaking gas into the eng. through the vacuum line. unplug the regulator and inspect the inside of the tube, it should be dry. then, put a vacuum gauge on the REGULATOR, not the vac. hose and pump some vacuum into it. it should hold 20psi w/no problems. if it drops down the vacuum or if you see fuel inside the vacuum pumps hose, then its bad. another thing to try is to make sure the MAF sensor is clean and not coated w/dirt. shine a light right on the little filaments inside the MAF to see if they are clean.

and lots of shops have inj. cleaning tools. they will tap into the fuel line at the shreader valve, and disconnect the fuel pump. then use compressed air to push the cleaner through the fuel inj.s to run the eng. and test inj. output after that to make sure they are delivering enough fuel and in equal amounts to each other.
good luck
