Fabricating T-Tops to my camaro
Ok, I used to have a 91 Firebird with T-Tops, and the T-Tops made the car you know, like everyone enjoyed my T-Tops, They could hang out the window while I'm driving, screaming and yelling, almost falling out while I take a turn at 50 in a school zone....
Ok, so it wasn't that bad, but still the T-Tops made the car look 'finished' and very clean, and I was wondering how hard it would be to get the parts to fabricate T-Tops onto my camaro.
Common sense implies that I need a roof from a car with T-Tops, but is there a year I sould look for, or will any do?
and are the roofs of Camaro's and firebirds the same?
I'm just interested, because I'm looking at some of my pictures of the bird, and its sorta getting to me, driving was just more fun with the T-Tops off, and when I look at my camaro, all I see is a camaro, it just doesn't get me going all that much, The Camaro rocks *** mind you, but all in all, it will never be a 91 Firebird ;_;
But back onto the topic, how hard would it be to get a T-Top conversation done to my roof, I am not going to do it myself (its WAY out of my skill level) but I was wondering, if I took it to chevy, and let them do, would they beable to?
And would it be easy to do, or would my car look unpurportioned afterwards?
And has any ever done it? Because it would really help if they had advice ^_^
Thanks,

It is possible. Some people have done it on this board. I think they've only done 4th gen cars. I also believe there is a kit you might be able to buy. You need to have some guts to cut at your roof. Most body shops won't do it.
