I myself love the 3rd gen's. My first car was a '85 Z28; then I bought a '88 IROC w/ a 5-speed. Even though I miss my IROC it just wasn't fast enough for me. I traded it in 5 years ago for my '94Z and haven't looked back. I couldn't believe the night and day difference between the two. Although I wouldn't mine getting another 3rd gen I would never take one over the LT1/LS1. JMHO, later.

Well you went from LB9 to LT1, of course that was a good difference.

I agree. I love my Camaro mainly because of the exterior look. The interior look... well its very base looking (but so was every other vehicle in the 80s and early 90s). But the seats are MUCH more comfortable than the 4ths, in my opinion.

Iv driven both, and yes the LT1 and LS1 definitely are faster. But I didnt buy the camaro for speed. I bought it because it sure seems like it is getting hard to find a nice 3rd these days, and I grew up liking the style of the late 80s and early 90s vehicles.

I want a 91-93 GT badly... in fact it was a toss up between a mustang similar to this color (only not a vert) and the Camaro I own now.

GTs are a little more expensive than the Camaro for some reason.

All third gens are crap, and the ugliest junkiest cars on the road ,they are not only crappie, but are slow POS and everyone should sell their's off to the nearest dismanttler,as I see it you can't get rid of your third gen Camaro/Firebird fast enough, hurry people before you have nothing but a pile of snail crap in your driveway!

Of course I'll be keeping mine! $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

i know a guy that has an 86 iroc with an LB9 305 tune port motor. hes had motor work done added a supercharger short runners and nitrous and was doing 12.7 in a 1/4 mile on just nitrous and hasnt run the car since hes added the supercharger. it still has all stock interior and no roll cage. plus his neighbor has a sonoma or s10 that kills ls1's, its all in how you tune and build your car.
