Of course, the heater core blows. Now my once semi-clean grey carpet is a lovely shade of flourescent green. Since I don't have heat in the car anyway since the fan motor is toasted as well and I really don't care about fixing this, I just don't want anymore anti-freeze in my shoes.....can I just take the heater hoses off and put plugs in the water pump and intake to completely bypass the heater system? Will this affect the cooling of the car at all? If I can do this....where can I get the plugs? Thanks guys.

Lets see what else goes wrong......so far it's been 1 destroyed IROC rim, a blown tire, the CD player broke, the water pump went, the heater core is dead and now the tranny feels funny.....that free Chevy van is lookin better each day.

 

FREE van? hell,get that for a back-up vehicle...and keep workin on the Camaro!
