You guys are gon'a get sick of my Header Q's, but please answer me this one.

Since I don't have to deal with Smog ever again (live in a nice county) can I get a set of headers without Air Injection and just leave it off? Will the car still run right?

yes, no prob, I just pulled mine off, runs fine, you can pull the AIR pump and run a shorter belt too, it really helps the look under the hood

 

Absolutely. Just scrap the controller valves and hoses and everything. You can even eliminate the smog pump if you get a shorter belt, but I'm not sure how much shorter it needs to be.
