v6 to v8 problem
hey all you camaro fans.. for 1 i got a bet with a stock acura integra with .... VTEC.. ROFL.. against my 355 completly NOT STOCK 355 85 camaro.. only problem is.. the engine right now.. i got a major problem.. i got a weiand electric water pump.. and it sticks out pretty far.. if i put the alternator in the right spot i cant get the belt on because of the pump.. BUT i have found a way to modify it so it sits out to the side and down farther.. is there a better way around this or should this be fine and not have many problems with it?? i could get a pic of it and show you what i mean if you want one.. thanks

As long as it's secure it shouldn't be a problem. If you're moving it farther out then you should DEFINITELY have a bracket supporting the back of the alternator, to take some strain off the shaft bearings.
har har
500 bucks and the loser puts their car for sale for 50 bucks.. ROFL.. im pumping 350- 400... depending on if i get the new cam intake and pistons i want.. if i get those i will be putting out an easy 450.. lol.. vs 140.. i **** myself laughing each time i think about it
